Don and Kathy Burns of Burns and Company have been entertaining children for over 25 years.

Kathy was an elementary school teacher before she began to travel as a professional ventriloquist.

Don is a professional artist and he uses his craft to build unique props and beautiful sets. Don and Kathy have produced entertaining, educational child care shows that ‘Wow’ their audiences. Each show is custom designed to meet the needs of the appropriate age group.

You Can Teach a Child to Read at Any Age! 2 year old's can learn to read with this method. I even watched an 18 month sound out simple words. It can improve your older children's reading skill as well.

Show # 1

Leroy Celebrates Individual Differences

Puppet Leroy Snodgrass loves people. The kids enjoy his funny antics. Leroy has a colorful pet,

Leona. Leona learns to appreciate the uniqueness of other birds. Kids from the audience assist

Leroy with his magic trick. Puppet Granny Parker and Tyrone Johnson join in on the fun.

Don uses magic tricks involving lots of audience participation.

The Magic of Recycling

Magician Don Burns has created a wonderful magic recycling bin. The kids squeal with delight as they see garbage changed into fun objects. The children learn the importance of recycling and caring for the environment.

Ventriloquist puppet Leroy Snodgrass has his own ideas about recycling.

Volunteers from the audience assist Leroy.

There is also a support cast of puppets and lots of magic tricks.

Leroy Meets The Grinch

This is a Great interactive holiday show for kids.

Leroy Snodgrass meets the Grinch and learns the importance of sharing. The boys and girls laugh with delight as the Grinch tricks Leroy.

The kids love assisting magician, Don Burns, with the ‘Snowman Magic Trick’.

Each show is 45 minutes in length and is age appropriate for 3yr. olds through 5th grades with lots of audience participation.
